That's what I used in my photography class in college in 1999 or 2000. It's a great camera, and one of the reasons why I'm getting a K200D. Actually, I have two K1000s. I know one has a bad light meter. I think the other one is still good. I may be throwing them up on ebay in the near future, so keep your eyes open if you want one. I have a K1000.
