My Xbox 360 overheats badly. So badly in fact that its best if I put it in the window next to my TV to play Halo 3, let it crash out when I’m mid-frag.
I’ve picked up the Intercooler from Amazon and it makes things a little better, but if my radiator kicks on I know I’ve got about 3 minutes until I’m kaput.
I should try something like Michael Hurt’s water-cooled Xbox. It looks great, and seems to do the trick. I love modding, especially when it’s useful.
Silly 360 fan boys 360’s are for kids. Stop wasting your time with this xcrock and get with the program. PS3 FTW as far as xbox and the xbox360…..That is why I have a sweet ccustom rig for pc gaming. I see the xbox as nothing more than a PC.

I’m not one that’s for console bashing, but once upon a time I was strictly a PC gamer. Nowadays the PC gaming market is dwindling down, hardly any games. Half my friends that had Xbox 360’s, including myself, had Xbox 360’s that toasted with the 3 RRoD. That is a HORRIBLE failure rate. I now have a PS3 that I play regularily and watch movies I download with.

Well, I’ve owned my xbox 360 for over a year and i had mine sent in to take care of it’s rrod prolem. It runs fine, but the damn intercooler attachment on the back sounds like a fucking jet turbine, and i cant stand it. Interesting. I’m getting ready to do the same thing myself, except I’ve decided to forgo the 360 case altogether, and mount everything in a completely different enclosure. Lian-Li now makes 360 cases that have a lot more room inside.
