I’m guessing the FBI has slightly more advanced versions of things like this, although the tiny Toshiba IK-HD1 is being promoted as being perfect for Homeland Security. Do those guys really need more cameras? It’s got a full-color 3CCD 1/3″ sensor, outputting at 1920×1080, though for some reason it’s 1080i. It’s bigger than a bouillon cube but smaller than an apple. I expect you’ll be seeing a lot of these hidden subtly in trees and behind your telescreens pretty soon. It’s still cabled, though, so at the very least you’ll still be able to unplug them, you anarchist you.
