I’m not one to get excited over clocks (I like corkscrews!), but this is pretty interesting. It takes the concept of the sundial to a mechanized future. Three lamps on concentric rings circle the peg in the middle, giving a shadow to represent hours, minutes, and seconds.
It’s quite charming, even though it’s just a concept now. If this goes into production, I’m getting one.
That’s an interesting way of combining classic technology and modern (well nearly) technology :)
