Actually, Maps should be on all Centros and the "My Location" feature works on them, unlike the poorly supported 755.

BestBuy's specs show same memory and processor, same screen resolution, same bluetooth and EVDO. 30 minutes less talk time with a smaller, lighter battery. Entire package is about 20% lighter/smaller. Pocket Tunes Deluxe is preinstalled. Same POS 2.5mm headset jack. Is google maps loaded?

"And thanks to my replacement insurance, they have to replace it if it gets lost, stolen or otherwise damaged beyond recognition"

Um, not true sir.... I called Asurion (Sprints insurance program) the other day to use my insurance to get my 755p replaced and they told me that htye didnt have anymore and would be sending me out a Palm Centro 690 (Ive never even heard of a centro 690)but regardless, a black Palm Centro showed up at my door yesterday.

Even if they pull it, I already got mine! And thanks to my replacement insurance, they have to replace it if it gets lost, stolen or otherwise damaged beyond recognition. Show me another pocket device that has the power to run any of hundreds of medical applications (I use about 7 daily) and also allow me to access the internet anytime, has Google maps preinstalled (try it once, you'll use it everyday), and has the capacity and durability to allow me to shove it into my pocket and use it as an MP3 player during a 4 hour mountain bike ride. A very powerful, durable and versatile product. Blackberry and iPhone? Nope. Treo dominates the medical field, based on their history in PDAs. Unfortunately, this market may not be enough to save the company.

Quoted from palminfocenter:
"A Sprint representative has confirmed to PalmInfocenter that the carrier has not discontinued the Treo 755p from its smartphone portfolio and says the 755p remains a "strong product offering" in Sprint's lineup. ... Sprint says they are addressing a temporary outage of inventory, which is why the Treo 755p is not being displayed online at this time."

They're FLYING off the shelves! All thanks to Matt, I'm certain.
