Buying an Eee with XP is like buying a Corvette with a diesel engine.

I'm a big Eee backer as well.

I liked it when I was using the Xandros, but for me, there are just too many Windows apps that I have to run. So, installing XP was a must, and it's made me like the Eee Pc even more.

At this point, I am looking to upgrade, though. The flaws of the original Eee are starting to be addressed by Asus, as well as other manufacturers. I'll be trading up to something with more storage and a higher resolution LCD very soon. Whether or not it will be another Eee Pc remains to be seen.

I have an Asus Triple-E - running Windows - and absolutely LOVE it. I tried the Xandros Linux version for awhile but just couldn't handle not running some of my favorite apps. I can't hardly get by without RoboForm (yes, I know there are similar apps - but nothing like RoboForm for Linux) and for me, that was the deal-killer. I went with XP and haven't looked back. It's amazing how fast XP is on the SSD. I LOVE my eee!!
