When u look at pics on safari for iPhone 3 g 8gb does it save all pics to iPhone hardrive like a computer would?

Sometimes when I save a photo it becomes very blurry but sometimes it doesn’t, why is this. Please advise

On services like picasaweb where pictures are not just shown but provided also with some effects and also on webpages where pictures are shown with lightbox or other kind of effects it doesn’t work however :(
