Yeah, I understand proxy footage has been the only way to edit RED stuff... I saw a workflow in action and it looked like it worked okay. There's actually kind of a nice feeling when you see the high res stuff all cut together for the first time and say "Wow, I didn't think it would look so good!" Great to hear from you!

Aside from a toasted LCD monitor on set, the workflow was absolutely flawless. Due to the time crunch, our editor had to cut with the 1080 proxies and did a custom workaround to do a color pass between FCP6 and Apple Color. We're now doing a 2k picture finish for other festival submissions. Thanks for your interest!
