Edge, the expensive yet professionally unmatched British gaming mag, calls Metal Gear Solid 4 “a bang of a finale, not a whimper.” High praise that should put to end any “but will the game be good?” speculation.

Like last month’s expansive GTA IV preview (which I bought at Barnes and Noble last week, along with that 2600), Edge devotes several thousand carefully chosen words to describe one of the biggest games of the year—certainly the biggest PS3-exclusive game. If you have any amount of patience, a rare commodity these days, I know, and any amount of interest in the game, I suggest you give the article a read.

Now I have to consider getting a PS3. Great.
