Five new laptops from Toshiba today. I know the above photo only shows four and I want you to know that we’re doing everything we can to find the fifth one. I speak for the rest of the CrunchGear staff when I tell you that we won’t sleep until we find the — oh, I guess the third one from the left has two different configurations; one with Intel processors and one with AMD processors. Sorry for the false alarm there.

Satellite Pro L300 and L300D

Price: $699 to $999

OS: Vista Home Basic or XP Professional

CPU: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-57, AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60, Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5870, AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-62, or Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T8100

RAM: 1GB or 2GB PC2-5300

Storage: 120GB or 160GB HDD (5400rpm)

Display: 15.4″ WXGA (1280×800)

More: The L300 line is Toshiba’s basic offering. It’s a bit odd that the two OS choices are Vista Home Basic or XP Professional since one’s for home and one’s for business.

Satellite Pro M300

Storage: 160GB HDD (5400rpm)
