Mark, woot, woot!
This is the last time you'll hear a "woot" out of me.

I'm hoping Sony pairs up with Netflix or Amazon Unbox to make this video download service happen, instead of reinventing the wheel. Regardless, I bought a PS3 to play Blu-ray discs, so I'm not sure why Sony is muddying the waters by offering downloadable video. It will have to be cheap, since $18 a month to Netflix for unlimited (ymmv) Blu-ray rentals will be hard to beat.

For the record, I think downloads and physical media can live in harmony in the future: physical to own, download to rent.
