Citi analysts Richard Gardner and Yeechang Lee are predicting that Jobs will announce the 3G iPhone during his keynote at WWDC in San Francisco. But that’s not all they’re predicting. They’re also predicting a refresh to the MacBook line, which we’ve been hearing about for a while now and it seems as though the iPods will also get a shakedown. Shawn Wu, an American Technology Research analyst, is claiming that the current crop of 2.5G iPhones will get a “minor casing change” and a drop in price somewhere between $299 and $349.

Thanks, guys. We had no idea any of this was coming.

  • If they offered the current 16G iPhone for $349, I would jump on it. Is 3G faster? I’m sure it is. However, I don’t have 3G anywhere in my state so it’d be hardware I would almost never use.

  • Haha. I just love this picture. You can almost here Stevie whispering to himself in front of the conference room. 3G man. As if he is looking at his little invention in awe of its beauty thinking, fuck…we’re amazing.
