I think we're going the opposite direction: Still buying the same amount of high-tech goodies as before, start to save money on food, gas, travels, and clothing. Last year, we used to eat out everyday, for about 5-6 days a week. Now we spend about $80 on grocerry, and $60 on food (going out twice a week). Cutting down on live concerts, cutting down on long-dis. trips. cutting down on travels... We used to spend about $200 on gas, but now we're carpooling to work, and biking on weekends, cutting the gas down to just $75 a month. But for hightech toys, we still like to depend on those during the boring weekends when we have to save money. Last month, I got 2TB NAS, GT5 game & Dualshock3, NVIDIA 9800GX2, next month, I'm going to get two folding bikes, 2 helmet cameras, and a HD camcorder.

Only a little! My recent purchases: iPhone, Dell Inspiron, and a Radial JPC direct box.

However, I didn't buy the Dell UltraSharp 24" monitor I want.
