Rumor: Game lock-ups on many copies of GTA IV?

How’s your GTA IV day going? We know many of you are skipping work and school and court dates to play the game, and that’s fine.
We’re getting in varied reports of people getting lock-ups during the title screens. If you’ve got the game, is it working for you? Locking up? Have you had a virtual blow job yet? Let us know in the comments.

I have it for the 360.
Working… For the most part.
I only had it lock up once. I went to the 360’s dashboard then loaded the game again. Worked fine after that.

I have a 40gig ps3 just got it yesterday as a bundle from game. It locks up and now dvds,music or the game will not even load up. Ive restored the settings and still nothing HELP!!!

On my 40G PS3 it has some lag problems during game play, and I did lock up once in the beginnign while doing the stupid Buy new clothes mission. Am I the only one that hates the addition of a dating life to this game? I’m tryign to take over the city and all these ladies want is some Ckuck n’ Bell! Bowling!, I have to take yo bowling…and I actually have to play the damn mini game! Get me back to the mayham!
