Alienware isn’t just for geeks anymore. This new laptop is uber-powerful and won’t make you look like Senor WoWpants headed for the LAN party. Although it still has the alien head logo, the backlit keys are striking and the Core 2 Extreme processor and up to 4GB of memory make it contender for “laptop I’d give up my MacBook Pro for.”

This thing can hold up to 1.5 terabytes of data, looks super sexy, and is available at Alienware.com. I only got to play with it briefly but right now it’s my favorite laptop of the year.

10lb laptop, really? for the cost I’d just by a desktop, I really don’t need that much power out of a laptop, but then again, I’m not a PC gamer.

  • Of course, everyone knows that anything with blue lights is sexy!

  • It looks pretty beefy, if I must say. How the heck do they get 1.5 TB in that thing. Didn’t Seagate just come out with a 500 GB laptop drive that’s not available in the U.S.? I’ll stick with my MacBook Pro 2.33 since I’m not a gamer. Although I wouldn’t mind having 500 GB at my fingertips.
