Earlier today at Sun Microsystem’s press conference, Neil Young announced he would be releasing his entire archive of tunes onto Blu-ray. They’ll be released in chronological order and the first 10-disc set will be available in the fall from Reprise/WB Records. Extras like unreleased tracks, hadnwritten manuscripts, videos and other junk will be included on top of the audio tracks.

“Previous technology required unacceptable quality compromises,” he said in a statement. “I am glad we waited and got it right.”

Really? Is Neil Young that savvy?

  • You have to ask if Neil Young is savvy? Boy, that pretty much means you aren’t. :-D

The many who buys Lionel? The man who took in Tin Soldiers and Nixon? The man is so savvy it’s hard to believe even some young, wet behind the ears, whippersnapper could possibly be so out of touch to ask such a thing!
