BloodRayne had (for the most part) a collection of good actors, a budget that appeared to cover any special effects and scenery that was needed, and a backstory that should have generated an entertaining movie. Maybe not Shakespeare, but at least entertaining... What the viewer ended up with (at least this viewer) was a 30 second view of Kristanna Loken's breasts and 90 minutes of gawdawfulness. For those not into KL's breasts, they were left with nothing. Michael Madsen, Michelle Rodriguez, Billy Zane, (and especially) Ben Kingsly - all wasted on this farce of a movie. I've read where we have the German tax laws to blame for the messes that are called Uwe Boll movies. It's a shame that a society that gave us Mercedes, peppermint schnapps, and Lily Von Shtupp somehow also gave us Uwe Boll... Scary bad.
