This has to be the most cockamamie way to score a deal I’ve ever encountered. For Mother’s Day, T-Mobile will waive the activation fee if you’re lucky enough to come across the banner ad on MSN’s home page. I’ve tried looking for it to get a screen grab, but I have a life and I refuse to sit here any longer. Simply follow these instructions put forth by TmoNews and you’re well on your way to being the biggest cheapskate of all time. This is, however, a two day special and I have no idea when it starts.

* Advertised on the MSN home page only.
* This offer will be honored via the Web and Telesales channels only.
* Offer not available in T-Mobile Retail stores.
* Price matching is not approved for Web and Telesales offers.
* This offer is only for customers who activate a new line of service through T-Mobile.com.
o Each new line of service will receive a waived activation fee.
* FlexPay monthly contract customers are not eligible.

  • Can’t do anything until the homepage roadblock for 1-800-flowers.com comes down. Telecoms usually do a homepage roadblock either the 2 days before, the day of, and 2 days after Mother’s day.
