I'm with steve, looks cool, but I'd be worried about crash-safety...

I'd look into buying one though!

It's people like you that is what's wrong with the world today.
So many naysayers and people that lack thought or vision. There is NOTHING here to do with this car that isn't already possible.
In fact, the technology has been around for a while, just it hasn't been incorporated yet because the oil and car companies are too busy reaping the profits from their current markets, however with the current global issues surrounding climate change and fuel crisis the car companies are leaning towards new technology, but they can't just think something up out of the blue and stick it out there. These things take time and research. Look how long the standard combustion engine has been around for and how long it's taken to get to it's current level of development!

Instead of knocking something that's good down, how about actually support it and do something good for everyone and stop thinking about yourself for once.

I agree, even 150 mpg would be an amazing improvement. I bet we will never see this in the states. Were still obsessed with big gas guzzling cars.

They should cut it back to 150mpg and let me go up to at least 100mph.

Yeah right and they have been selling 35mpg for fun when they could have cornered the market. Gee it looks as if the tires are solid and big enough for one! How come motor cycles don't even come close? Use your head. Next you will say "I don't need to be protected if everyone drives a car like this". The insurance industry wont bite. Exactly how does a wiper work on a curved surface like this? Grow up.
