A Grand Theft Auto movie would be “super interesting” for Mr. Uwe Boll, the German director of great movies such as House of the Dead and Postal. You may remember Mr. Boll for being a giant douche in every interview he gives, up to and including this latest one with New York magazine, where he extols his love for the GTA franchise, He admits, rather caustically, that, if the game is ever turned into a movie, it’ll likely go to a Michael Bay or a Brett Ratner, a big-budget, big explosion hack director. Sounds familiar.
Honestly, I can’t be bothered with “hating” a director, especially since I’ve never seen his movies. Just know that he’d love to direct a GTA movie, but that he feels he’d never be allowed to.
Please don’t hate Uwe Boll…. Pity him.
Pity him as you pity your poor old spinster aunt, who firmly believes that her prom date from 43 years ago will still show up at her front door and sweep her off her feet…
Pity him as you pity any neocon who still believes “we will find those WMDs any day now!”
Pity him as you pity any Buffalo sports team fan, who believes that “this next year is our year, and this time we will win (The Superbowl/The Stanley Cup)!” (please, please pity me for this one…please)
Pity him as the person who sincerely believes that he is good at what he does, whose delusions of adequacy are so great that he feels he deserves to do more of what he has sucked at so badly for so long…
GTA doesn’t need to be a movie. The game is the story, no other way of telling it.
I’ve watched several Uwe Boll movies, they are getting just a little better each time…
At this rate, in another 200-300 movies, he should be a good C-list director.
If you haven’t seen his movies, then consider yourself lucky.
If you are brave enough though… watch “the house of the dead”, but those 90 minutes of your life will be gone forever.
UWE BOLL TO MAKE NINJA ASSAULT MOVIE.
Uwe Boll should make the movie based from the Namco video game Ninja Assault.Boll has working on other VG movies with Zombie Massacre so this would good.
I know you guys don’t like Uwe Boll and some of you do like his films,but he will be the man do make the movie Ninja Assault,the film will have ninjas with guns and a American bounty hunter to save two girls from the evil Shogun master.
I like the Christophe Gans movies Crying Freeman,Brotherhood Of The Wolf,Silent Hill and upcoming Onimusha which its on hold.

How about ACE COMBAT the movie?
All it need for Boll is to gather some advices from the people who made Top Gun and NAMCO, then the gaming community(I hope they won’t form a mob) in order to create the near-perfect video game movie adaption.
Also, the music score and dogfight scenes must be electrifying and dramatic as various scores from Transformers and Hans Zimmer compositions, and dogfight scenes as good and suspensed as Top Gun.
Although, he needs some help for the budget, in creating the fictional aircrafts, renting actual fighter jets, and hiring a lot of pilots to aid the protagonist pilot.
