Someone, or something, has confirmed to GIZMODO that the 3G iPhone will be released on June 9, the day of the WWDC keynote. (I guess Jobs will be all, “Available… now! Go! Buy, buy buy!”) That’s a more or less worldwide launch date this time, with carriers in other countries able to set the price of the phone and plan, maybe.
On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you? I’m a 10, easy, but just because I hope for the day when 3G iPhone rumors go away forever. Then the 4G rumors start.

I am definitely a 10. I love my current 8GB iPhone. I can not wait to get one with more memory. I really hope they come out in 32GB. Damn that would be sweet!

I’ve got mine and use it for Business all the time… even though on June 9th it’ll only be a few months old, I’ll drop it down to my sister and upgrade for sure. Shoot, if they were to announce a 64GB version…

Rumour has it in Sydney that this is also the day the new Apple store will open as well and that they’ll coincide the Australian iphone launch with that.
Fun times in Australia that day :)
