We knew there was a movie based on the Prince of Persia game, but we didn’t know they’d pick someone so douche-y to play Dastan. At least they picked a relatively not unattractive actress to play Tamina and she happens to be the newest Bond girl as well. So, the title of the film will be “Prince of Persia: Sands of Time” and the plot goes a little something like this:

In the fantasy adventure, Gyllenhaal will play Dastan, a young prince in 6th century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Arterton), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

I’ll have to see a trailer and Gemma in her ‘feisty and exotic’ outfit before I commit to watching this.
