That silly Indiana Jones movie comes out today, and there’s no shortage of merchandise (read: junk) on which you can waste your money. Case in point: a “Crystal Skull Adventure Projector,” which projects some two-bit slide show of “exciting archeological discoveries,” as narrated by Indy himself. I have never seen an Indiana Jones movie.

Should this awesome toy interest you, you’re gonna have to wait a bit: it’s not being released until October. By then you should be able to download a Blu-ray rip of the movie off TPB, I would imagine.

  • Ahhh, you disappoint me with your “I haven’t seen it/them, so they must not be good” approach to the Indiana Jones movies. Hit Netflix, grab some popcorn (or chips if you prefer) and watch the three that came out a while back. I think you will enjoy the 1st and 3rd ones, and maybe even #2.

As to the new one – reviews have ranged from almost lukewarm to pretty darn good. Keep in mind, though, that these types of action flicks can review poorly, but still entertain.

That projector, though…. My mother always said if you can’t say something good, don’t say anything, so I will shut up now.

  • I don’t remember the movies too well, to be honest. But I have a hard time getting excited for anything Spielberg does anymore. And George Lucas’ association automatically means I won’t see this. Sorry to offend SW fans, but as creative as the guy is, he couldn’t make a movie better if his wealth depended on it. Its a damn good thing it doesn’t.
