New touch pen and leather case for the iPod Touch
by Serkan Toto on May 23, 2008

Tokyo-based Princeton Technologies announced today the release of a new accessory set for the iPod Touch in Japan. It will be available at the beginning of June (the iPhone is yet to be launched in this country… hint hint.)

The set consists of a touch pen and a case made of sheep leather. The case is available in black (PIP-LCTPBK) or brown (PIP-LCTPBR).

Princeton Technologies claims the pen will not scratch the iPod Touch’s display since its tip is covered by a special kind of rubber. If you push too hard, a highly bendable spring will prevent any damage. After taking off the cap, it can also be used as an ordinary ballpoint pen.

The set will cost $39 and is Japan-only.
