Intel was projecting a June launch for the Centrino 2 chipset, but TG Daily is reporting that Intel has indeed run into issues with FCC certification and graphics issues that was reported earlier by Tech Trader Daily. TG’s source is claiming a soft launch for July 14 with a full rollout a couple weeks later. For the Apple fanboys, that means no new MacBooks or MacBook Pros until later this year. Might as well buy that Penryn MacBook/Pro now if you really need a new laptop or the equivalent PC laptop.
