Also, although TNT shows many upconverted movies their award winning series "The Closer" is broadcast in stunning HD. There is quality HD content on cable, just not 24/7. Time Warner SoCal still does not have Discovery’s channels (coming in July), A&E (can’t watch the new Andromeda Strain in HD), or SciFi (Battlestar Galactica).
