Ford thinks Sync is cool, but not quite cool enough, so it’s developed this interactive next-gen dash system that takes Sync and adds its own goodness, such as touchsreen GPS and real-time traffic.
It’s not a replacement for Sync, but rather a complimentary program. It takes the Sync music system and adds Sirius Satellite music and all of Sirius’s other good stuff, like sports scores and live gas prices.
Personally, we find that too much information while you’re driving isn’t good, and we’d like to see this stuff integrated into a heads-up display like some European cars are doing this year. But it’s still better than having a 7-inch that maxes out its usefulness by playing back bloody awful Nickelback songs.

You would think the communication director would no better then to give the world the middle finger all through a demo.
I had a 5 series bmw with iDrive - didn’t that run windows? Sure seems like it since it BSOD’d a few times on me 70 on the freeway, of course the middle finger is what you get when that happens…..
