am sorry to hear that but i share almost the same predicament. i just bought a ciphone 3g yesterday and upon fiddling with it, i am getting a crc(cycle redundancy check) error. looks to me to be a flash rom problem. but the worse thing is that i couldn’t find have it replaced by the supplier, with phony representations and all that, i couldn’t have it fixed. maybe this is what it cost to buy cheap items. i got what i have paid for.
