Video: Demo of Android touchscreen
by Peter Ha on May 28, 2008

We’re still in the process of digesting what’s going on at Moscone with Google I/O, but here’s a whole gaggle of demo videos for a touchscreen Android device. Check out the play-by-play from TechCrunch.

  • Looks good, but they’ve definitely taken a few pages from Apples book. For instance, the hold-icon-to-move-it-around feature or the swipe-screen-left-or-right-for-alternate-desktops feature. And wasn’t it coy how they just happened to use teh NYtimes for a bookmark… hmmmm… didn’t Apple heavily feature that specific website in their ads for the iPhone?
Oh well, it makes no difference to me, I’m just pointing out that it seems to be heavily iPhone influenced.
