CrunchArcade: Gears of War re-released on June 24

What was alluded to last week has now been confirmed: Gears of War will be re-released for the Xbox 360 and PC as a two-disc set. The re-release includes maps from all those map packs and little extras from Gears of War 2.
June 24, $40 for the Xbox 360 version, $30 for the PC.
Does it make me a bad person that I never played GoW for more than 15 minutes? Does it bad, or does it make me wise?

It’s an utterly average game with little to no innovation and graphics that are very detailed but incredibly ugly (EVERYTHING is brown).
So no, you haven’t missed anything.

Yeah, that’s what I figured. I played till the first outdoor firefight, died, then said, “Yeah, I’ve played this when it was called Doom.”

Wow, that crack must be cheap and abundant where you live. The graphics are gorgeous, detailed, and I’ve been playing it for two years but I still find new things all the time. The online community is huge and a lot more adult than most FPS. There is absolutely nothing average about that game, is that why everyone is copying the basics of GOW? I guess opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.
