gowwww

What was alluded to last week has now been confirmed: Gears of War will be re-released for the Xbox 360 and PC as a two-disc set. The re-release includes maps from all those map packs and little extras from Gears of War 2.

June 24, $40 for the Xbox 360 version, $30 for the PC.

Does it make me a bad person that I never played GoW for more than 15 minutes? Does it bad, or does it make me wise?

  • It’s an utterly average game with little to no innovation and graphics that are very detailed but incredibly ugly (EVERYTHING is brown).

So no, you haven’t missed anything.

    • Yeah, that’s what I figured. I played till the first outdoor firefight, died, then said, “Yeah, I’ve played this when it was called Doom.”

    • Wow, that crack must be cheap and abundant where you live. The graphics are gorgeous, detailed, and I’ve been playing it for two years but I still find new things all the time. The online community is huge and a lot more adult than most FPS. There is absolutely nothing average about that game, is that why everyone is copying the basics of GOW? I guess opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.
