Gary Krakow is off his f’ing rocker, tells Jobs what to do to make the iPhone better
by Peter Ha on June 5, 2008

Krakow thinks Apple needs to “bite the bullet” and hook up with Windows Mobile or RIM for corporate e-mail support. This is a f*cking joke, right? Is he serious? Are his glasses upside down?

I completely disagree with crazy Gary here. Apple does NOT need to go after the business/enterprise. Sure, it can choose to, but it’s so thoroughly dominating the consumer market already. It’s the same as their computers…everyone says that Apple needs to release a computer for the business people…but no..not really…they are seeing 20-30% increase in sales and market share quarter-to-quarter. True going after the business people “might” increase market share…and I say might, because once you license Blackberry or Microsoft, you know the iPhone just won’t be able to do what it does right now..

I have a Moto Q9 on WinMo 6…it’s a nice *smart*phone…but it sure does suck big time in plenty of places…

I know that my company is already investigating the possibility of allowing iPhones for all our employees, even though we are very “entrenched” in Blackberry and Windows Mobile 6.

This guy’s an absolute idiot, corporate users don’t care what operating system their cell phones use. All the iPhone needs to do to make it in the corporate world is convince all those hardware keyboard guys that you can type as fast if not faster on the iPhone as you can on a hardware keyboard.

The iPhone is getting everything that corporate users asked for, remote wipe, exchange support, etc. The only thing it doesn’t have now, is a hardware keyboard.

This dude is on some serious CRACK ! seems like he’s been biting too many “bullets” himself.. does an OS mean anything to him…? maybe if E had a gadget show he’d fit right in there…

Lol, Gary’s taking too many “bullets”, indeed. Apple has its onw style and charm and creates products that other companies copy or try to match.

So to beat the competition you have to *BE* the competition?

Not quite sure what this chap is trying to engineer here but this is not a credible business comment. Neither is the fact that there are no minuses to windows mobile. I’ve got an Eten Glofiish. iPhone users have done whatever they need to do before I’ve even got the stylus out of its slot . . . .

Has this guy ever used a Windows Mobile phone? I gave up on mine due to it being really slow and I kept missing calls due to o/s lag. This is not what you want when it’s a corporate phone. I haven’t used an iphone yet other then try it in the store because our company uses Orange but as with all Apple stuff the menus seem slick and fast.

Hopefully when iphone 2 comes around it will be available on more than just O2.
