Bioshock 3 confirmed; Bioshocks 4 through 8 rumored

That’s right, I’m starting the rumor here. Why not? Why not 8? If such an unique game and story can survive a trilogy, why not an octilogy?
Seriously, though, Bioshock 3 was confirmed yesterday by Take-Two as being in the works. Wasn’t so long ago we heard that number two was coming out, not to mention the movie and iPhone versions.
Ah, the birth of a franchise — and the slow death of originality.

Awesome … again … I think. Anyway, I’ll take this opportunity to reiterate my wishlist for Bioshock 2 (and/or 3):
Please Mr. Levine, I’d like:
1. Liquify/Melt plasmid
2. Ability to play as either a Big Daddy or Little Sister
3. More enemy variety
4. Please let this be a prequel. A true sequel would be… you know.
5. NOT on the Wii
6. Stay in Rapture. I know there’s much more to explore there. Atlantis, eat your heart out!
7. Steam powered weapons
8. True DirectX 10
9. Underwater exploration
10. And of course, feel free to send me an evaluation copy :-)
