The Dare, LG’s version of the Prada phone for Verizon, has been spotted in the wild, and it’s a good looking phone.
The iPhone-like Dare has a full frontal touchscreen, LG’s fancy new UI, a decent camera at 3.2-Megapixels wtih a flash, a good browser, and other fun stuff. Those on Verizon wanting some more touchscreen love — if phones like the Voyager aren’t their thing — are drooling for this one.
We’re expecting to see it sometime around the 4th of July, and it will probably be introduced at a good price. Can we just say that “Dare” is a dumb name for a phone? Are they randomly picking nouns from the dictionary now?

So question will it run the LG UI or the weaksauce Verizon UI
Man you really need to go back to school…Dare is a word in the dictionary and that is very true…but it’s not a NOUN it’s a VERB. You dare I dare he dares…get it???
With that said…looks like a solid phone.
Which school would that be?
dare, noun: a challenge, esp. to prove courage. “He’ll take any dare.”
Actually, VZW cust, “DARE” can be a verb OR a noun….just a little clarification, that’s all. That being said, I ordered my DARE last night, and will be getting it this morning—I can’t wait to try it out—I just hope I don’t regret selling my Pink Chocolate…I loved that thing. But, from the looks of all of the reviews, I won’t be disappointed.
I will so be getting this the day it comes out, I am hoping it comes sooner!!
How can you tell us your opinion but at the same time ask a question ? (Can we just say that “Dare” is a dumb name for a phone? Are they randomly picking nouns from the dictionary now?)
DARE is a Verb; (according to the way LG/Verizon is using it as) I DARE YOU TO COMPETE ! it’s an action..The end……..
Go back to skoole
