Japan thinks that a video of a couple of women are looking you in the eye for 96 minutes will make you more confident. That’s the content of a DVD [JP] which has been released by Japanese entertainment powerhouse Avex a couple of days ago. The girl in the video is just one of 50 women of different ages and nationalities.
So what is this about?
The DVD is aimed at curing shyness, especially in Japanese men who are too afraid to talk to women. By looking at the girls on video, viewers are supposedly able to reduce the level of nervousness the next time they encounter females in real life.
The DVD is entitled Miteru dake which translates to “Just looking” and costs $25. Before you ask: A Blu-ray version has not been announced yet.

No Blu-ray? Screw this then…real women are Blu-ray.
Now… what will they do about the even shyer Japanese woman? This only solves half the problem!

I hope she said “What are you looking at?” at the end.
@ Justin
Wow, you watched all of it? The whole 60 seconds? Impressive, I couldn’t do it.
Well, she says “Koboreteiru yo.”. I don’t know what that means in this context. I asked my Japanese friend and he doesn’t know either.
Normally the Japanese say “Namida ga koboreteiru yo.” which roughly translates to “Tears are falling from his/her eyes”. But this phrase, I have no idea…
I was still in bed half asleep and, while different, waking up to a Japanese woman staring at me certainly wasn’t an uncomfortable experience.
I don’t think the target audience would be looking at her eyes.
What did she say at the end of that little snippet? I hope it was “touch me”? LOL
Danged! I broke my stare only after 10 seconds to look at her boobs.
Well, maybe it’s good for some shy people, but not me.
Good luck for them.
I am used to watch porn movie to fix my problem : )
Same as YKK and this actress made me cry.
