Instead of having the guy dream about Hammer or superimposing him or using a tight shot on his face while he's supposedly dancing, they found a guy that committed to Hammer's steps and mannerisms while looking nothing like him. And they even shaved the lines in his hair. This was a funny idea, but the subtle touches make it genius. It has received respect in hip-hop circles too, especially now that we're over the whole Hammer debacle. That’s what makes this commercial. It was fun coming up with the idea for this commercial. We basically just took the idea from our sound cards and applied it to someones natural life.
