102593049gx1I saw this in the SkyMall catalog a few days ago while flying and I thought it was ridiculous. I saw it again randomly on the Internet and decided you guys needed to see it. I’m like that.

It’s a low-quality hearing aid disguised as a Bluetooth headset. But that’s not the interesting part. It’s being marketed as being a headset that will improve your image! Want to look younger? Add this to the side of your head! You’ll look like a douche, sure, but a younger douche. Presto!

To any oldsters reading this: Do not do this. Get the little in-ear hearing aids and keep your self respect.

  • I’d rather have a bluetooth headset that looks like a hearing aid.

  • it just points to a future in which we no longer stigmatize technological assistance. the quality and designs will be much better in 10 years. (Probably 8 years too late for me but for you youngsters…)

  • Looks O.K. Where can I buy one to ry??

  • I just ordered one just like this for my great grandmother who is 91. It isn’t bc she wanted to look young, but when I let her use my bluetooth headset for her phone she could hear better than she could with the hearing aids that she just spent hundreds of dollars on. So… frankly if the item works an since it is just a small price to ask, I will order more for my grandmother in the future.

  • I thought I saw something similar on tv for less. Plus I think they offered 2 for less money. Did anyone else happen to see it?

  • Well my grandfather is interested in this because his in ear hearing aid bothers him. Since he likes the bluetooth he got for x-mas it just seemed like a good fit. Not really for looks or practicality but comfort.
