I have to agree with different points here and play the fence. Usually when I get on, I’ve been lucky enough to play with cool, decent players. I’ve yet to play with bigots, racists, etc – but it’s sad that in ‘09 that things like this are still around. Cussing is natural, I cuss a lot, and sometimes I let the “n-word” slip. Me being African-American and saying it should be no different, and if it offends someone, whether they are the same race, or different, I should stop, just like everyone else online. But it’ll never stop. Too many kids and adults I’m sure will come on, hear other people around them in real life and on games saying offensive things, and the circle will keep on turning. I commend Adam Sessler for at least putting the word out. He’s doing more than most people.

To be honest, the reason people throw profanities around is because no one seems to be taking it seriously except for morons like Adam Sessler. We’re living in a day and age where profanity almost doesn’t exist. People say what they want and no one really cares. I think it’s pretty cool, since the idea of certain words being taboo by design is pretty retarded anyways.

Adam Sessler, I wanted to say man, your a great gamer and human being.
What really bothered me about being online is when a kid is playing a rated M game, I’m 25, I play rated M shooters or action rpgs and the last thing I want to hear in my mic is a kid. There is a solution to the problem, parental supervision or separating the age groups with the option of allowing a minor into the matches. Alot of fathers do play some online games with their sons despite the rated logo on the games. The problem is kids are playing online with adults and kids feel that they have to use profanity and other types bad language to become accepted by an older audience. So in general we as adults have to tell them to watch there mouth or mute them and the best of all if you have Rainbow Six just kick em.

Ha, this was a good vid. I don’t play much online though, but I may every now and then over at a friend’s house or something if they’re already playing and they hand the controller over. Some times they like to ‘talk gay with a lisp’, you know…the stereotypical kind…and everyone starts throwing out the f-got word and stuff, and it’s ridiculous. Well, it’s kind of funny in this situation because we’re trying to rile them up…but if you’re being serious and playing normally, I can see how it can get irritating.
