Cameron over at TweakTown.com got Windows Vista Ultimate up and running on the new Asus Eee 1000H. The Windows Experience rating is a lowly 1.0, held back by the graphics card, but the system seems to otherwise work. The installation apparently only took about 30 minutes. Bonus points for using AC/DC in the video.









Why installing Vista when you have linux already?
coz it is more user friendly works out of the box less VGA and Audio, doesn’t need reconpiling or modifying any binaries.
Why aren’t you happy with XP? What does Vista have that XP doesn’t? Just wondering… (Unless you have a craving for slow PCs)
And the review says that it will be significantly fasted with the SSD – not true, the SSD is a LOT slower than the HD version. Please just ignore this article.
