Guilded Age: Next Tony Hawk to use motion-sensing skateboard controller?

Could the next Tony Hawk game (they still make those?) use a new controller? Like, maybe!
Apparently Activision is toying with the idea of using a motion skateboard-like motion-sensitive controller for the next 360/PS3/PC game, which could be titled Amplitude, Adrenaline or Huck Jam. Yuck Jam is more like it, right?!
I guess now that Wii Fit has single-handidly solved America’s obesity problem, more and more companies will be getting on board this whole alternative controller fad.
This generation of video games will be known as the time when companies lost their way trying to please non-gamers.
As an alternative hobby, may I suggest vale tudo?

If it makes people move and use game consoles, why not (as well as making money for manufacturers). Will it ever replace actual gamers with their overclocked, hypercooled systems? No way.

Hear that? That’s the sound of thousands of Dreamcasts getting back into service… just to play the darn game again with several million points.
Or maybe it’s the cry of millions of thumbs…
