They got their hands on 2 GTX 280's and 2 9800GX2's, and the performance was almost the same running each card in SLI mode. Crysis at 52fps at 1920x1200. Not sure why anyone would spend the premium for the same performance: http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3334&p=19 The funny part is that they had to use a *second* PC and attach the power cables from that to even supply enough power.
