I bought the first version of Das keyboard a couple of years ago, and it felt like a dream to use compared to any other keyboards I have been tested. A year later they released the second version of the keyboard and I liked it even more than the first one. So now, with the third version coming, I am very excited!

do you EVER HAVE A KEYBOARD fail on you ?
other than wet/ water damage
I dont think anyone ever has a china made keyboard failing
so it remarkable to read about " durability" of any keyboard

Sounds like it is similar to the 1994 IBM Keyboard that I have made by Lexmark, except no USB. You can pick them up at computer stores that have used bins for like $5. Nice click action, durable as hell, and they look awesome.

I am fine with my basic Packard Bell keyboard I got a few years ago when someone gave me a Pentium machine. I believe it's a 1996 model. It works great (it has a decent "bounce" and so forth), but it is still technically a membrane keyboard. I love it nonetheless.
