Am I crazy to admit that I actually enjoy the look of the design of this remote, called sPult? I don’t know how well it’d work—some of Yanko’s commenters have eviscerated it—but compared to some of the horrendous remotes I’ve used, it looks great.
It was designed by Russian Yurii Smitana Perfilov, who must be quite nervous given today’s big game.
I like the design overall. But I wish we would get out of using numbers to indicate channels. Channel 26 is meaningless. CNN is more descriptive. I find that the most annoying thing about my TV is that I can’t order by the Channel ID - everything is ordered by channel number which makes this a mess.
Yawn…. Someone wake me when they put some more buttons on that thing. You know, like numbers and stuff.
