Got a chance to play with the 3K RazorBook, a tiny, Linux-powered laptop with teeny touchpad and keyboard. While this is little more than a mini-Internet device, it looks like it might be quite useful and, at $299, cheap experience. What do you guys want me to test during my review?

  • I would love to know how this unit handles video, like the one you made above. Is the video and audio consistent and constant, or are there delays and low frame rate?

Also, does this thing handle pandora.com music well?

Can a person use skype with video conferencing without problems? What kind of frame rate? I have the QuickCam Pro 9000…it works with Ubuntu 8.04 and the latest version of Skype for Linux – what about this computer and it’s stock OS?

Does this unit work well with browser based webchat sites, based on software like Userplane Webchat – http://www.userplane.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=apps.webchat

What is the power draw of this unit, in terms of watts?

What is the processor manufacturer / details?

    Thanks for your time.

  • I am interested in knowing if the drivers for this laptop are fully free (as of free speech and not free beer).

    Thanks.
