Comments on: iPhone 3G could have MMS

Does anyone remember that Apple and AT&T held back info like pricing and doled it out during the week before the launch? They did this to build up hype and to get media coverage before the actual launch. In my opinion, they are likely to do this again, possibly with MMS, and this will drive the masses into a frenzy before the launch.

My friend just dumped his iphone for a blackberry because of lack of mms support. but then, he is 30 going on 12.

Hey! I, or, more appropriately, my friends and family actually use MMS. It’s a real pain when my wife sends me a picture and I have to find a computer, log into viewmymessage.com, and view a compressed 2×2 picture. Honestly, I’ve considered dumping my iPhone for the BB 9000. However, if they can retro-fit my Gen 1 iPhone with MMS, I’ll stick with it. Or, even upgrade to the iPhone 2.0.
