Would you suggest going for an &#039;older&#039; model like above on the cheap vs. one of the new models coming out with all the bells and whistles?

What I do: play ps3, watch blu-ray and dvds, not too many hd cable channels (damn you time warner!) but I will watch fox, nbc, abc, etc etc in HD only.

I would for surely like it to be 1080p. But I haven&#039;t seen the 120Hz tvs personally yet. What are good contrast ratios these days? Is LCD really that much different than Plasma? or is it the same without burn in.</description>
