MetroPCS Communications Inc, a Dallas-based wireless carrier, is allowing customers to bring phones from other carriers to its network. Supposedly this is one of the largest carriers to do such a thing. Analysts say that this will be the trend as the US wireless market starts to open up.
That said, if you think you can activate an iPhone on MetroPCS Network, it’s not going to happen. They use CDMA, so only phones from Sprint, Verizon, and Alltel Corp will work.
i have a Samsung U740 from Verizon Wireless, i all ready have an account with METRO PCS using a “CRAPOLA” (KYOCERA) phone that cost me about 125$ alot of money for a POS anyways the guy @ the metro pcs store its actully metro pcs/boost mobile/sprint etc..type of store he refuses to flash my verizon phone to my metro pcs account. i only use the samsung for prepaid he is just being an Arse….so i see it is true metro will allow quiet a few phone’s on there service now…..where should i go? to an REAL METRO PCS store?…..i really want my samsung on my account with metro or possbily my samsung i760 i dunno if they allow that one? let me know thanks.

it’s been 6months now 22 days of metropcs playing games with customers accounts and adding on other people to my account i do not know..here is my esn#01807188604 my first number is now someone’s else number 562-219-8921 but the esn number is the same o1807188604..my 2nd number 562-274-1239 didn’t work eithier a mean employee at metropcs put a cdma unlegal block on my phone huawei m318 phone but my esn number 01807188604 is still the same.3rd phone number 562-228-4695 is my 3rd number from metropcs my cell phone is badly block cdma block but my esn number is still the same 01807188604 ..help get my phone back on ..

yes claims department is rude i was able to flash my phone my self….i found out the metro store charges $60 for a flash and u sign a waiver saying if they ruin ur phone its not there fault ……torrent ur phone companys phone and flash it ur self….metro really sucks when it comes to services and they charge $3 a day late fee;s also coverage sucks. oh well ill figure some kinda mod out to get better coverage. atleast the samsung phone gets better coverage than the over priced 125$ kyocera from metro.
how can you flash your phone yourself?
I have a Verizon 700WX and I would like to flash it to work with Metro PCS but I can’t seem to get anyone to do it. I do know for a fact that they go through Houdii to activate. How can I get it activated and “flashed” myself?

since we are all havin so many problems, and u seem to sound nice and concerned i have a question, my current phone from metro was damaged, i am a single parent and at thsi time with school starting i can not afford a phone, but a friend of my gave me her blackberry palm 8130 phone so i could have it flashed, the only problem is no one here either flashes them or says they can’t of they want me to by a new phone and the list of unanswered questions never gets solved, so do u know if i can flash it? and if i can will i b able to get a full flash and if i can do all this where in the sarasota florida area or mailing it in can do this? thank u for u time :)
ha iv been to ur store. its nice there. ya here in oxnard,ca metro pcsis a huge joke. u can flash any phone onto metro pcs EXCEPT; Tmobile & AT&T phones.
I was wondering if I could have a Palm Treo 800w flashed to MetroPCS. I bought this Palm Treo like 2 months ago and I have not been able to flash it because they keep on telling me that it cannot be flashed to Metro but I do know for a fact that it can since I called yesterday to a store in the Miami, FL area and they told me that they could flash it for $100. Is there anyone closer to my town here in Cape Coral that can flash my phone with all features working? All features I mean text/internet/SMS/voicemail etc… Can someone tell me right away please, or if possible can you point me to where I can unlock my phone myself through the Internet? Thank you!!!
