OMG OMG OMG. I just woke up and it is like Christmas up in here. I tell you, I am nerding out right now. I’ve been digging through all my old games looking for a Diablo fix lately: Titan Quest was good, Sacred was big, Dungeon Siege II was almost as good as I remember,and Shadowgrounds was scary, but it goes without saying that the king of the hill has always been Diablo II.
Diablo III has been announced, and I’m waiting on the 800MB (!) gameplay trailer, which is being distributed via a dedicated torrent client. Don’t worry guys, I’ll seed (in like 3 days when it’s done — 72KB/s? Come on). In the meantime check out the shots I’ve got here and the shots they’ve got there.
I’m way excited. I wont’ lie. I still play Diablo 2 sometimes. WoW is a great game, but as far as the pure fun level, Diablo 2 is definitely my favorite.
This is very, VERY exciting. I have been waiting for this news forever. The screenshots look very impressive. Seems to be the graphics are inspired by WC3 and WoW.

This game looks just like Diablo, and Diablo 2, except its going to be a hell of a lot better. I also hate the fags that think Diablo should be black and white, how fucking stupid can someone be.. Diablo and Diablo 2 both had plenty of color in them, it was a bit lacking in color only in cavern areas, and dungeons. We have only seen maybe 35 minutes of Diablo 3 environment, definitely not enough to judge the entire aesthetic value of the game on.
