Did it brick your PS3? Word on the Web is that some of your compatriots (you know, if PS3 owners were from one country while us Xbox 360 owners were from another) are experiencing various degrees of FUBAR after upgrading.

I’ve upgraded and even left mine on (left it sitting/not being used) just to recharge one of my controllers and I haven’t noticed any issues so far.

Upgraded about an hour ago and playing GTAIV with no problems. :-)

No such issues. Upgraded this morning (08:00 CET) and have since surfed the web, played some games, fetched material from the DLNA-enabled server, etc.

well thanks to this stupid update my hard drives killed its self nd iv lost all my data
