40gbps3

A leaked Wal-Mart document has the whole Internet buzzing right now, what with it showing that the 40GB PS3 will be replaced with a new model in August. Like true diplomats, it’s important to understand what “replaced” actually means here: does that mean an entirely new model, like a 50GB drive model (or whatever), or that Sony is merely including a DualShock 3 with the 40GB model? No one knows, and that’s what makes it both exciting and tedious.

  • I imagine it’ll be the ‘adding DualShock 3′ bit you mention. There’s too many ‘versions’ as it is. Then next ‘version’ of the PS3 I actually think would be planned to replace existing units would be a slim version like they always do. But who knows when (or if) that’ll happen.
