Rogers has conceded that its pricing is a bit outlandish and is now offering a $30/6GB monthly plan for those who intent to download “105 hours of YouTube” or maybe 10 emails a day. No word on Visual Voicemail or whether Apple stores will carry the phones.

The 6GB plan is $100/month just for data, according to http://www.rogers.com/web/content/wireless-products/iphone_voice_data_packages:
“For example, you may choose to combine one of our new data plans ranging from $30 per month (for 300MB) to $100 per month (for 6GB) with a voice plan.”
It’s not on their plan page yet, just a Press Release:

This $30/6GB plan is only available until August 31. I called the Vancouver Apple Store today, and they had a recording that said iPhone 3G would be available on July 11 at 8AM in store, so I think they will be sold in store.
